Since 1997 I have been participating in A.C.E. marketing activities. This work involved market research, tour development, advertisement planning and contacts with clients. In spite of very bad shape of Yugoslav economy, economic sanctions and NATO air campaign in that period I have provided budget (both from Yugoslav and foreign companies) for some of the biggest A.C.E. expeditions.
In July 2000 I had special guide training organized by Europeds Company - Cycling and Walking Europe (www.europeds.com). Europeds is American company that organize cycling and hiking tours in Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and Ireland. As a prospective Europeds tour leader for the next season they provided me two weeks training scheme at Europeds guiding house in Dordogne (France). I became familiar with their guiding system, tour organization and tours themselves.
From August to October 2000 I was working as cycle tour guide in French Cycle Touring Center "Le Vieux Moulin" (www.lvmoulin.com). "Le Vieux Moulin" organizes cycling tours in Burgundy region and Loire Valley. Clients are Americans. My duties are to guide tours - cycling with guests or support them by van or car, provide them information about visited places and perform bicycle mechanic service.
